About Me

Allie and I before church Brandon Henak was raised in Chanhassen, MN and graduated with a double major in Information Technology and Operations Supply Chain Management from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was recently married to Allison Henak and his two main passions outside of his family and friends are business and politics.

Business

Currently, Brandon Henak works as an Acquisition Integration Program Manager at a fortune ten company based out of Milwaukee, WI.   He graduated from the Information Management Leadership Program at that corporation where he did 4, 6 month project rotations in different business areas as well as training programs in the US and China.  He blogs his latest experiences and advice as a new Generation Y participant in corporate America at Newly Corporate (recently recommended by Yahoo! Finance and featured on US News and World Report).

At the end of his junior year and throughout his senior year at Marquette he co-founded (and was attacked for) the free-market, student-run publication, The Warrior, that provided a much needed independent perspective at Marquette. Henak currently acts as Chairman of the Board for Warrior Media, Inc, a 501c3 organization incorporated in the state of Wisconsin that publishes The Warrior.

Politics

Henak was elected the Chairman of the Marquette University College Republicans his freshman year at Marquette and grew the organization from a few members to over 1000.

During his time as Chairman, the Marquette College Republicans gained national attention with their ‘Adopt-a-Sniper’ fundraiser to help provide for Marine Snipers protecting our troops in Iraq. Following the ‘Adopt-a-Sniper’ media storm (MSNBC, USA Today), Henak started Gop3.com: The Triumvirate with two other Marquette conservatives, Daniel Suhr and Brian Collar, to expose liberal bias at Marquette and provide commentary on Wisconsin and US politics.

In late 2008, Brandon joined Jason Kohout and Jake Curtis who started the Conservative Young Professionals of Milwaukee, a conservative networking organization with monthly events that now has close to 1000 members in the Milwaukee area.
